How Do You Build Trust With Yourself?

I meet a lot of actors who get excited to take action but don’t follow through because they start to feel overwhelmed and, ultimately, not worthy of attaining their goals. This vicious cycle erodes the trust you have with yourself. When you don’t trust yourself, how on Earth are you ever going to feel good enough to put yourself out there as an actor?

Now that you’ve thought about where you may have broken promises to yourself by not taking action, how will you commit today to rebuild that trust to yourself? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. I feel because I have an outstanding accountability partner and practice , the trust in myself is pretty high. I recommend every actor has a partner they check in with once a week or maybe three times a week. It’s such a gamechanger! And Awesome support! Blessings!!

Dallas — with all the success that is happening, I discover older and older voices of doubt. It’s like cleaning out the attic! And this business bite just hit the nail on the head for me. Because no matter what anyone else says, I am the final voice to say “Yes” — and that yes will carry me farther. Thanks for the reminder that I must be as accountable to my self as I am to everyone else.
